The exploits of a crafting butterfly whose attention span is only as long as a piece of pretty string!
LOL! Thanks for the good laugh.
Trying saying that after a few!Jane x
If you've had too many to tell the taxi driver this is where you live then I think it is pronounced Nearest Travelodge....!
Is it pronounced the same as the English would pronounce it or do the Scottish have their own different way of saying it?
Properly it would be pronounced with a soft Scottish 'ch' but it also depends how annoyed you are or whether you are using it to substitute for another word as then it might have the harder 'ch'/k sound...lol!
Been there!! Hope you have a very Happy New Year.
Thank you Gillian. I must admit I've only ever passed near by and not actually made it there. I just think both names are fab.
There are slaughters in the Cotswolds as well, I think, but no Ecclefechan. Do they have Ecclefechan cakes?
Yep, that's the place where the eponymous tarts are from and very tasty they are too.
Comments are welcome and I read every single one
